WHAT IS A SEMI-CUSTOM BRAND?

TK DESIGN’s semi-custom brand kits are brand suites based off of templates I’ve thoughtfully designed. Elements of each brand kit are customizable while others are not. The brand kit you choose will be personalized with your business name, tagline, and initials. Details such as the typography and positioning are not customizable. For an entirely custom brand identity, refer to our services page.

WHO IS IT FOR?

Time-sensitive: The semi-custom brand option is ideal for founders who don’t have 4 weeks to invest in a custom branding experience, but can commit to 7-10 days.

Budget-conscious: The semi-custom brand option is ideal for founders who don’t have a multi-thousand budget for a custom brand package.

I launched TKD to share my passion for strategic and beautiful brand design and it has since turned into a premium creative agency.

Apart from my design passion, I’m a California native splitting my time between the U.S. and Europe, learning German (to keep up with the in-laws!), and can most likely be found exploring a new coffee shop.

How it works:

  • Choose the brand kit that aligns with your business and resonates with your ideal clients. Add the chosen brand kit to your cart, add your business information (business name, tagline, preferred initials (2) to the form, and complete purchase.

    Note: Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final and non-refundable.

  • Onto my favorite part! I’ll review the information you submitted and design two unique brand marks incorporating your initials.

  • You’ll review the two concepts and let me know which one you’d like to move forward.

  • You’ll receive the logo files and brand guidelines booklet for your semi-custom brand kit within 10* days.

    *Timeline is dependent on email response and feedback times.

  • Your semi-custom brand kit is ready to meet the world!

FAQs:

  • Each semi-custom brand kit includes a primary logo (vertical orientation), two alternate logos (horizontal orientation), brand mark, color palette, typography suggestions, and brand guidelines booklet. File formats include: AI, PNG, SVG, JPG, EPS. Amount of revisions: 1 revision is allowed.

  • Each semi-custom brand kit does not include additional logo concepts, additional revisions, additional logo variations, and font licenses. Font licensing laws prohibit me from sharing font files, but I include a link (in the brand guidelines booklet!) to the proper website where you’re able to purchase your license.

  • Each semi-custom brand kit will be personalized with your business name, tagline, and two preferred initials. You’re welcome to use the color palette provided or send me your chosen color palette.

  • Elements of our semi-custom brand kits that are not customizable include the font pairing and the logo lockups.

  • Semi-custom brand kits are intended to help you launch your business quickly and economically. It’s recommended to only use semi-custom branding for your first year in business. Once you’ve reached your one-year anniversary, custom branding is recommended.
